Far Cry 4
Open World 360 Gameplay

Ubisoft had just won the Best Game of the Year with Far Cry 3 (set on an island) when I was hired to work on world creation for Far Cry 4, (set in Nepal).

I supported and mentored a 10-person team to create the open world, including every side mission and art layouts. I learned a completely new game engine and tools, set the vision and direction, and oversaw environment designs from terrain to temples and 3D objects.

I also oversaw a new documentation repository in Confluence used by more than 100 artists and designers, including guidelines, best practices, directories, and links.

An example of the open world environment that I helped create in Far Cry 4. We wanted to provide gamers with beautiful vistas, and a truly exploratory open world.
